[Solved] Not able to record Silverlight applications using trailer version

Hi,

I have downloaded Web UI Test Studio trailer version and installed at my local machine. But when I create a new webaii test, it is not showing any RECORD button(Option). Then what is the purpose of trailer version. I have to show POC to one of my clients how Web UI Test Studio works an he will take decision whether to buy licence or not. Please provide me the solution for this.

Hi Rajasekhar,

I suspect our Visual Studio add-in somehow got disabled. Follow these steps to re-enable it:

1)    Open a DOS prompt
2)    Type “cd C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\Common7\IDE”
3)    Type “devenv /ResetSkipPkgs”

That should re-enable our add-in and make things run normal again.
