Hi guys,
I was checking out what was out there in terms of some Geo-location globes, and found that Flex/Flash by far has the most developed globes.
SL has one globe out there: http://www.codeplex.com/silverglobe which has been modified by a couple people but it still remains mostly rudimentary compared to the Flex/Flash globes. I'm thinking since Telerik does such a great job with controls and has already done a bunch with 3D this could be a real big add to the collection.
Basically, I want to do this for a few sites: http://www.etsy.com/geolocator.php and started digging around trying to figure out how to do it. What do you all think? (Obviously the earth would be one skin for the globe and it could possibly be used for other spherical things, although I'm not sure what would be more useful than having a good earth skin.)
Chris
