So this might already be in the plans, but I figured I'd throw it out there :)

So I noticed you call it "TeamPulse Standard".  Is the intent then to release a "TeamPulse Ultimate" or some other sku that makes it so you don't have to keep purchasing addons?

...FYI it would be also nice to not have to purchase "seats" on that SKU.

I'd also just like to say that while I support the idea of addons, I don't think you should go hog-wild on them with a small dev team.  As people who have bought the addons or just the core product will end up feeling a bit longing come each Q release when the product(s) they've purchased have little or no changes in favour of a new addon (know what I mean?).

Cheers!
Steve

Hi Steve,

Thanks for your feedback. The idea of a TeamPulse Ultimate license has not been discussed internally, but I can see the value in this, along with having a site or server based license that doesn't require you to purchase individual licenses.

Expect to see many features in the upcoming releases that people who have only purchased the core product will be excited about. With our new accelerated release cycle (6 per year), we're trying to find the right balance of features per release so that everyone feels like there is something in it for them. This is easier to accomplish when each release contains 4 months worth of work. It's more of a challenge when our releases contain on 2 months worth of work. We won't always get it right, but the good news is that you'll only have to wait a couple of months to see what's in the next release.

I'd like to make a request. Would you please give me your opinion on what you consider to be the size of a "small dev team"? Would this team consist of all the people involved in developing an application or would you consider the "dev team" to not include testers and analysts but to only include a people who fall under a very strict definition of the word "developers".

Kind regards,
Steve
