Hi,
Just a heads up that my project HTML is valid in both w3 validator and "CSE Validator HTML Pro" - but the Designer won't open because it says the html is invalid.

Thanks,
Dave G

Hello Dave,

Thank you for taking the time to report this.

This might be an issue with self-closing tags. For example, an HTML5 validator will consider the use of <br> valid, but the designer will not. Try to replace tags such as <br> with the alternative <br />.

If this is indeed your issue, after making the necessary changes, you should be able to load index.html in the simulator. We are working on a fix for this issue which will become available in our next release.

Let us know if this helped.
