NativeScript: debug using chrome devtools from AppBuilder CLI?

Hello,

I just want to know if it will be possible to start debugging a NativeScript app with Chrome devtools from the AppBuilder CLI, like it already can be done with tns debug <platform> --chrome.

Right now I get the error message, that 'chrome' is not a supported option for the 'appbuilder' command.

Will this be supported in the near future?

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

You are correct that currently debugging a NativeScript app with Chrome  is not supported in AppBuilder. I have forwarded this ticket to the responsible developers and they will investigate if it is possible to introduce this feature in AppBuilder.

Hello Marc,

Unfortunately, the development effort behind this feature and its low demand are not making it a high priority. With this in mind, I cannot give you a precise time frame when this feature will be implemented.

Furthermore, I would like to note that we are currently working on a tool that will significantly improve the experience of developing NativeScript apps.
