I didn´t find the My Forums section in the Forum. By 'My Forums' I mean, the list containing all the posts I´ve made ...

Hello Ken,

There is no section on the website which lists all forum threads in which you have made a post. However, by default you are subscribed for all threads in which you write. If you did not uncheck the "Subscribe me for this thread" checkbox before sending your messages, then you can see a list of all the threads in which you participated. In order to reach this list, please login to your client.net account and click the "My subscriptions" link in the "My forum threads" section at the bottom of the client.net homepage.

Kind regards,

this little feature is a gem, truly it is, i must admit that it *greatly* improves my ability to track my forum efforts, and by being tied to the subscription is awesome.
Two suggestions, the first easy, the second a bit more work and not soo high on my wish list..
• Could you please tack on the name of the last poster and the time of the post in the MyForums section, so we can more easily tell if somebody has replied to something we posted?
• An explicit checkbox: List in MyForums on each thread for give us even better granularity, and would also reduce email loads on your server.

cheers, drew..

Drew,

Your second request already exists! Everytime you respond to a forum post, there is a little checkbox (just above the "Reply" button) that says "Subscribe me for this thread". If you uncheck that box, you won't be subscribed to the thread and thus it won't show up on your "My Subscriptions" page.

To your first point, the My Subscriptions page already shows the name of the last person to post to a thread you are subscribed to along with the date of their response. Would like more detail than is currently supplied?

Thanks~

P.S. The "My Subscriptions" section seems to be broken today, but I've already submitted a support ticket to telerik to draw their attention to the problem. Hopefully it will be back online soon!

Hi again Todd, thanks for the reply.. As per my post, i acknowledged the hook to the subscription checkbox is great, but to reduce email loads, a second checkbox that simply hooks the thread to the MyForums listing and not going thru email would be a good alternative for those of us trying to reduce email.
As per the first point, your "My Client.net" must differ from mine, as all i have are: Thread, Last Post, All Posts. Cheers, drew..

Drew,

Sorry. I misunderstood your original post and what you were referring to with the "My Forums" wording. I think I understand your point now, and it is an interesting suggestion.

I'd like to add to your suggestions that telerik consider making the "My Subscriptions" content accessible as an RSS feed so that we could just subscribe to our Subscription feed. That would be another way we could keep up with new posts in the threads we're watching while not relying on email.

Thanks for the feedback and have a great weekend~

Hi,

Thanks to everyone for the feedback and suggestions. At the moment we are not considering any changes to the "My forums" funsctionality. However, as Todd mentioned we will soon add an option to subscribe to an RSS feed for a particular forum or thread, and we hope that will at least to some extend resolve the problems you mentioned above.

Best wishes,
