Today i start Graphite and after answer about update workspace i choose take local (as usual) and then i can't find a lot of my works that i was done for a two or three days before. I'm very very sad, i become mad about that, because i spend a lot of energy to build that instead of to be relaxing on the sun at my vacation.

Hi,

Can you elaborate on your workflow - Graphite asks you to choose whether to take "cloud" or "local" whenever you're working on a project on several machines i.e. Graphite notices the difference in the local project files and the cloud project files (since you've modified it from another machine) and prompts you to choose which to take into account. If you have worked on this project on another machine and want to continue your work the right option to pick would be "take cloud", not local. If necessary we could pull up a backup of your project from yesterday and provide it to you, just let us know the name of your project.

In general, to avoid such unintentional mistakes, we highly recommend pushing your project to a repository (e.g. github, bitbucket). This way your project lives in the repository and you can always revert unintentional changes by using the repository history.

Hello. Thanks for fast reply on my problem. I work on same machine but with different IP, at another city. I don't know why but two days before when i come here (to Moscow from Saint-Peterburg, Russia) and start my project all become fine, and i continue my development. Yes i use bitbucket as remote backup, but yesterday i don't do them cause tired after long day, so when i come to my notebook today morning i restart Graphite with entirely sure that all be fine, i do that before many times, but when i restart Graphite i get what previously describe.

Please pull up a backup of my project from yesterday it's called "SprintPays-JSCSS".

Hi,

We have restored your project from Monday that should contain the changes you've made. It is very weird how you receive the "take local/take cloud" dialog, as it would normally appear whenever changes are made from another machine (or from another IDE i.e. Mist vs. Graphite).

Still as a rule of thumb, we highly recommend to always commit changes to a repository.
