Hello Shameem,

This is a known-issue. I am glad to inform you that it was fixed in one of the latest releases of the Telerik Components for ASP.NET MVC. I will suggest you download and use the latest official release of the Telerik Components for ASP.NET MVC (2010.1.309). Here is a demo, which shows filtering on date column.
