This is currently not possible through the public API. I have logged it for implementation and we would implement it for the next minor release (service pack).

it is good to add a dropdown list in the pager so the user can change the page size;

Been six months. Any word on this enhancement for selectable page sizing in the header/footer? It is part of current project requirements, and I am having difficulty with a work around.

This was implemented a few months ago. Go check the grid paging example for a working demonstration.
