[Solved] MVC Chart Sample code? - Server binding

So far I am finding the online documentation to be lacking, especially when it comes to the server binding for the MVC chart.  

Is there another resource where I can a full code example of how it works - the online documentation falls short of showing the actual data model (docs).

We try to keep the documentation as focused as possible. Full code samples are available in the online demos. You can install them locally as part of the trial version.

Thanks - I stumbled across the demo code, but unless the sample code explicitly does what you need then there's no guidance / explanations of how things work.

For example, how does the paging work - it works very well, but how?  Without adding anything to my data access layer it 'just works'.

I then want to change some of the defaults, like the page sizes.

When I was working with the MVC charts, the sample code showed the use of tooltips, but I don't seem to be able to use tooltips in my code, I'm certain that we are using the latest Telerik version.

For me, sample code is great, but not a substitute for detailed documentation.

Thank you for pointing out this weak spots in the documentation. We'll add information about tooltip configuration in the next round of Chart documentation updates.

The Grid paging is thoroughly  documented in the server binding and paging topics.
