Hello, I looked through the Editor demos for ASP.NET MVC 2 and I am comfortable setting up a basic editor. I'd like to be able to open/save OpenXML (.docx) documents via this Editor.

1. Is this possible with the ASP.NET MVC Editor? If so, are there any examples I may follow?
2. I saw something somewhat related to OpenXML but it was for the RadEditor - can this be made to work with ASP.NET MVC 2?

Thank you very much.

Hi Alex,

The MVC Editor currently supports HTML only. I am not sure what is the solution for RadEditor but probably if it works there it will work for the MVC Editor as well. As a workaround I may suggest you check our Silverlight rich text editor which can open ad save docx files easily. And you can use it in any HTML page regardless of the server side technology.
