Hello Telerik Team,
I will do my best to describe the behavior I'm seeing. I went through the grid demos, but they are all set to single row select only.
Here's what you need to recreate the issue:
1. A grid setup so that you can select multiple records
2. 100+ rows in the grid (enough that you have to scroll through the list)
3. Somewhere at the top, select a record.
4. Using the Ctrl key, select another record a few rows down, but not having to scroll.
5. Repeat step 4 two more times.
6. At this point, all is fine and the rows are a selected.
7. Scroll down a little and using the Ctrl key, select a row.
If your grid acts like mine, then you should have noticed two things.
1. No rows are highlighted now, but boxed (whatever that means)
2. The grid has jumped back to the top and the first selected row is the first visible row
If you continue to repeat step 7, selecting a row that is not within the visibility of the first selected row, it will keep jumping to the top
Also, after it jumps back to the top, if you select yet another row within the visibility of the first selected row, they all become highlighted again.
Why does it jump around when selecting and why is the selected/highlighted state visually so erratic? I just want to select a row, it become highlighted and nothing else.
Thanks
