Hi,

just wanted to do a stacked finance stock chart.  e.g.

http://www.google.co.uk/finance?client=ob&q=NASDAQ:YHOO

Would like information to appear in areas within the same chart.  How do we do this with Telerik?

Hi Steven,

For a setup like this, one can use a stacked area chart. More information on this is available in the following example:

http://demos.telerik.com/silverlight/#Chart/Gallery/StackedArea

I hope this gets you started properly.

Best wishes,

That doesn't help.  Your example is multiple series on one chart.  Need multiple series in one chart AND additional multiple charts in seperate but vertically aligned window panes, in a stacked fashion.

Idealy you'd be able to run the mouse along and and see the data points in some kind of floating window or header for *all* series in all aligned panes.

Hello Steven,

Presently, there are three ways in which the control can be rendered:

1. As separate charts, where you have a separate control on the page for each type of series.
2. Multiple series in a single chart, similar to the suggestion sent earlier.
3. Multiple chart areas in a single chart. This is similar to the following layout:
http://demos.telerik.com/silverlight/#Chart/FirstLook

in such a layout (#3) you can order the chart areas one on top of the other, and include one or more series in it. Let me know how each of these meet your requirements, and where they fall short.

Kind regards,
