I have installed the phone tools on two separate win8 installs and do not see the template item listed in visual studio. Is there an additional step or something I am missing?

Hi Ian,
Thank you for contacting us.
We are still working on the extensions for Visual Studio 2012 which include the Design Templates for Windows Phone. They will be part of our Service Pack which will be released next month.
