If you are migrating your project, that uses RadControls for Windows 8 to Windows 8.1, read on to find instructions for the best way to do it.

Migrating Windows Store apps to Windows 8.1
An MSDN article that explains how to migrate your Windows Store application to target Windows 8.1. Note that this will not update your RadControls references, since they are a third-party product and Visual Studio cannot migrate them automatically.

How to add RadControls to your Windows 8.1 project?
The blog post that announces the first official release of RadControls for Windows 8 that contains Windows 8.1 builds, explains how to update your project references in the first section after the introduction.

Note: If you had already installed the 8.0 build of RadControls, version 2013.3.1105, when you start migrating your project to 8.1, make sure you first uninstall the 8.0 build and install the 8.1 distribution of the controls.

Using RadControls for Windows 8 and 8.1 Together
A help article that explains how to maintain both 8.0 and 8.1 builds of RadControls at the same time. The special approach is needed because the Control Panel installer considers both builds as one and the same version.

If you still have questions or problems with the migration, related to RadControls, post in this thread or send us a support ticket and we will help you get them solved.
