I tend to use Telerik's controls by default, including the Label.  However, I feel like Microsoft's System.Windows.Controls.Label (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.windows.controls.label(v=vs.95).aspx) has more features than Telerik's Telerik.Windows.Controls.Label (http://www.telerik.com/help/silverlight/t_telerik_windows_controls_label.html).

Microsoft's supports tracking the target control's required'ness and validation state.  Telerik's seems to only honor whether the target is enabled/disabled.

Am I correct?

Hi Brian,

Actually the Label is not part of our official Silverlight Controls package. It has been developed to be used as internal part of other Telerik controls. Having this in mind I may confirm it does not cover the features and functionality of the MS Label.
