I am wondering if Telerik will be including some of the main standard SL controls like the TextBox etc in the Metro theme? I know that you haven't done this with previous themes because the SL control toolkit normally had similar themes so it wasn't an issue.

As the rest of the Telerik themes our Metro theme provides styles for several native Silverlight controls including TextBox. There should be no problem to apply Metro theme to a Button, TextBox, CheckBox etc. You may take a look at the following forum thread for further info.
