[Solved] Menu Customization (rounded edges and space between parent menu items)

Hi,

i have difficulties to customize the MVC Menu like i want.

i want my menu with rounded edges and space between parent menu items. (please see attached)

more problems for example:  i cant set the height of the menu, when all the menu is 60px  the text of the parent item is on the top and not in middle.

Please see the attached image, this is my final goal.

i see the "mega menu" from the Ajax Demo here in Telerik website, but it's Ajax Menu and i want to use MVC menu,

also its very difficult to understand how the setting of the menu is made in this example.

didnt find something in the Help or in the Demo that i can learn how to build a menu with spaces between the parent items.

Hello Moti,

See the attached example -- it should help you with the menu skinning. The menu is targeted with the #menu selector (by id/Name) and the styles are located in the ~/Content/custom-menu.css file.

great answer for my question, very simple implementation.

I buy the Telerik Premium controls just few days ago,
i had a lot of fear in the first days, but now i can see i can use Telerik controls with style customization for my needs.

thanks for your support, its great to know that there is Professionals who are there behide the product.

I'm doing my first steps to build a very massive web application which i'm going to use Telerik Controls everywhere in my application,
and i hope i'll get into the "Telerik spirit" very soon and will use the controls with ease.
