I searched for an error in my code and randomly I found out that setting MediumTrust to True this leads to disabling the file log mechanism. Costed me a lot of time until finding out what the problem was. Perhaps this information helps others!

Hello Sepp,

You are right, I have just checked the code and OpenAccess is indeed not generating log files when the model is configured for medium trust environment. Normally in medium trust scenarios the application does not have access to the file system, although it should be able to create files in its application directory.
Is this your case - do you want to create log files in the local directory of the application? If yes, we might need to reconsider the current approach and enable the logging in some cases.

Kind regards,

Hello Alexander,

I don't think that I will need this "feature", so you can let it as is.

But for the community this can be a nice tip because I searched a long time for the problem why OA had not written any logfile ;)

Greats,
Sepp
