Hello,
On the Grid, the column width is automatically set to fit the content, which is great.
But when that content is outrageously long, is there a solution to limit the width of the column ? anything like MaxColumnWidth ?

Hello Frans,
Unfortunately, RadDataGrid does not support such feature. I will log this as a feature request. Currently you can manipulate the way each column is measured through its SizeMode property which supports: Auto, Stretch and Fixed.
