I'm using SL5 and the latest internal build (1330) of radcontrols and I have faced a couple of problems with the RadDataFilter control.
I have attached screenshots to illustrate what i'm talking about. On the first screenshot all is ok and records are filtered correctly. On the second one we have the same result despite of the fact that MatchCase button is pressed and the case doesn't match (the condition is "starts with"). Also note that gridview column's footers lost their values (it's not the case if I use english letters, though)!

Can somebody shed some light on the issues?

Thank you.

Hi,

We use .NET to compare strings, i.e. we don't compare them ourselves. So you might need to change the CurrentCulture so that .NET can compare string in Ukranian.

Hi, Ross
Thank you for your reply.
I have investigated the issue a bit further and I see that filtering works fine. According to the column footers the source is filtered correctly and contains just one matching row. But the gridview shows two rows...

Hi,

Please, send us a runnable sample project that demonstrates this behavior and we will debug it immediately to see what's going on. Thanks in advance.

I have created a sample app using business application template with wcf ria services link and AdventureWorksLT2008R2 database. I didn't find the way to attach zip here, so I created a support ticket:

Thank you.
