Telerik staff

I have been using the component for a week or so and yesterday the map stopped working on my firefox browser, it just appear as a gray screen, locally but also your site´s examples so I wandered if there´s any known issue or configuration to make it work again. I think that due to this problem I can´t debug my app anymore. The map continues to work on a IE browser

Thanks

Santiago

Hello Santiago,

Demos http://demos.telerik.com/silverlight/#Map/FirstLook are working just fine on my machine (Firefox v.3.5.7) -- could you confirm whether you are still experiencing the problem?

Bart.

Santiago,

I can confirm that it works on the latest version of Firefox as well -- just upgraded to v 3.6 and everything is OK.

Bart.

My firefox version is 3.5.3, I will upgrade too but the problem seems to be the imagery service since the browser keeps showing the message "waiting for response from dev.virtualearth.net" in the inferior bar. I manage also to see the shapes in the map as your states example.

I suppose there´s some configuration that is not letting the map to work. I have a bing maps key and it works fine on IE.

Thanks

Hi Santiago Dávila,

We tested the online demos locally on various versions of Firefox (v 3.5.3, v 3.5.7, v 3.6.0) and as Bart noted everything seems to run seamlessly. Unfortunately we cannot provide you with helpful advice based on the provided information so far -- do you recollect what changes did you make to your project around the time it stopped working?

Sincerely yours,
Manuel
