I ran through the manual install of the Silverlight controls on a developers computer. The Telerik entry did appear in the Visual Studio 2008 help however it appeared to be blank. I looked at a different developers computer that had the Telerik help installed via the setup package and his appears in the innital tree view with the other controls and appears populated with help topics.

The other difference is that one developer with complete help had the MSDN library installed and was prompted whether or not to use local or web help as the default. The developer with blank help does not have MSDN installed and was only prompted to run via web.

The goal is to just run the manual help install without installing the whole Telerik setup package.

Thanks in advance

Hello James,

You are installing from the ZIP archive right? Inside the Help folder, you will find a RegisterHelp.bat file. Run it, and the help should be registered with the MSDN help collections. Double click ViewHelp.bat to open a new Document Explorer instance with the filter that shows the Telerik help content only.
