Hi,

Oracle already released a beta version of managed version of odp.net driver. Will ORM support this driver? The managed version will solved the many dll issues with local an gac versions which give most of Oracle db developers headaches ;-)

Regards,

Henk

Hi Henk,

We have already tested the beta version of the managed odp.net driver but found out that there are still some issues in this driver that were revealed by our test suite. These errors are already reported to Oracle directly and we are waiting for a new version of the driver to test it again.
We definitely plan to support the managed Oracle driver but unfortunately, we can not give you a timeframe yet when this will be. We will integrate support for this driver to Telerik OpenAccess ORM, as soon as we can rely on it and our test suite shows no more errors.

I hope this information is useful for you.
Feel free to ask if you have any other question.

Hi Henk,
Unfortunately, support for the Oracle Managed Driver has not been added to Telerik OpenAccess ORM yet.
I have created a Feature Request entry in our portal that allows you to upvote this feature. See this link here.

Do not hesitate to contact us again in case you have any other question.
