My company is in the process of developing a world-class industrial commissioning database application.

It involves some pretty cool technologies including having tablets in the field communicating with the mother-ship database.

The database is SQL Server and the data volumes would be considered small by today's standards. The application also manages jpg images in the scale of millions--which presents its own set of challenges.

The web UI makes very heavy use of Kendo-UI/JQuery on the client. The server-side of the web application is done with asp.net.

This assignment will very likely involve travel to Vietnam for durations of one or more months. It is conceivable that there will be subsequent assignments in
other countries.

The ideal candidate will have at least a brown belt in SQL Server. Special attention will be paid to code cleanliness and performance provisions.

Most importantly, the candidate will have a black belt using Kendo UI and JQuery. He must be able to create powerful, pleasing, intuitive user interfaces. Extra
attention to be paid to natural, intuitive, elegant workflow.

Our application makes use of Kendo UI's mobile provisions for our tablet UI. The tablets that we use are Samsung 10.1s or 10.5s. So far, none of the tablet application is native android. It only makes use of Kendo's mobile web UI provisions.

Our company's application is something that the industry has never seen before but sorely needs. We and our clients are excited to take it further.
