Hi, I just installed JC for VS2010 before beginning a new project.  While I'm trying to hammer out the design of the project, I'm moving around a lot of folders and classes in VS2010.  Quite frequenly I'm noticing that the move will fail in a partially complete state (some folders might be created and maybe some files moved) and VS2010 will present a message like (from memory, so not verbatim) "The operation could not be completed.  The resource is currently in use by another process.".

I have never run into this issue in VS2010 prior to installing JC... it seems like when JC is scanning files to check for errors it creates a lock on the file and may not be releasing this lock when the scan is done.  Closing the files in question doesn't appear to resolve the issue, nor does restarting VS2010 in most cases... I've had to resort to closing the solution and editing the csproj file manually to reflect the paths I want.

Unfortunately, I cannot provide exact steps to reproduce... it seems to hit fairly randomly.

Does anyone else have any insights into this?

DS

Hello Wayne Vanderkaden,

Thank you for your feedback and sorry for the inconvenience. This is a known issue and we will fix it soon.

If this happens again you can disable JustCode from Visual Studio Tools - Add-ins Manager, do the moving and enable JustCode again.

Best wishes,
