Localization with control specific resource files

All the examples I've seen on localizing telerik controls with resource files (resx) are set with a common resx file in the properties folder for the solution.

I would however like to have several resource files, so that I would have one for each control.

How may I set the ResourceManager for a specific control?

RadGridView --> RadGridViewResource.resx
RadXXXXXX --> RadXXX.resx

I am afraid that currently the localization technique described here is the only possible one.
