In 'Iteration Planning' we have 2 icons; 'Plan an Iteration' adn 'Decompose Work'.
Under 'Iteration Planning' we have the option of listing the backlog in 'Backlog Priority' order, which makes lots of sense (certainly given the way we do things).
However, under the 'Decompose...' option have a list of Stories, but we have to have it presented in a different order as 'Backlog Priority' isn't an available option under the 'Columns' button.
Frankly, I can't think of a why this limitation exists. We plan the iteration, putting the stories into order, then we decompose the stories in to tasks. IT just doesn't make sense for the list used as the basis for the 2nd operation to be in any other order than that used for the first one.
