Currently I have these open issues with the grid:
1. How do I set a default value with Client Edit: Add

2. Client Insert of Grid Row does not respect Client Template for Cell

3. Edit Row is empty

The third one is a real showstopper.
The second one must be solved.
The first one would be nice.

Hello Frank Michael ,
Since we cannot reproduce those issues the only way to see what is wrong is you to send us a sample project. Until that we cannot help.

Do you want to have your say when we set our development plans? Do you want to know when a feature you care about is added or when a bug fixed? Explore the Telerik Public Issue Tracking system and vote to affect the priority of the items.
Since we cannot reproduce those issues the only way to see what is wrong is you to send us a sample project. Until that we cannot help.

Hi Frank,
I replied to your other forum thread. It should work for item 2) and 3). If you want to set default value for a grid editor you must provide an editor template for that column which contains some control with default value set. You may have to write some JavaScript in order to set the default value only if required.
