Linux Compatibility with telerik silverlight controls

Hello Telerik Team,

We are developing silverlight application by using telerik silverlight latest components.

We lately came to know about linux compatibility issue with silverlight as Moonlight development gone off since 2011. We tried to run even though, but our application is not working with it.

Application environment
silverlight  5.1.10411.0 x64 version
Telerik Silverlight RadControls 2012_3_1129_1050 version

The second try was Linux Crossover Tool 

Here is the flow of workout we've done on Crossover tool.

• Once we configured silverlight 5 on crossover, we tried to access our application which was hosted on IIS. The application didn't work.
• We tried to run normal Silverlight Business Application which comes with the Ria Services for both the versions Silverlight 4 & Silverlight 5. This time these application got working perfectly.
• We then created sample application of telerik silverlight controls, but it didn't work.

After these much workout, we found that, all the silverlight application runs under CrossOver without any problem. But when we try to run any telerik based silverlight application, it doesn't work.

Would you please help us out if you have an idea what could be the reason.

Also, would you please let us know how we can run silverlight application on linux platform in anyway ?

Hello Pratik,

I am afraid that we cannot provide much help in this case as we do not have specific knowledge on the Linux platform. Since the development of the Moonlight project was discontinued, we haven't been working on providing support of our controls for any other cross-platform .NET Framework implementation.
