Hi,

We have just updated all our Silverlight projects to use the latest Q2 SP2 release (using the Telerik VS extension). The upgrade has been fine apart from a small issue we now seem to have with line charts and point marks. The point marks have shifted and no longer sit directly over the line join. All point marks have moved slightly down and to the right. Looking at the Appearance.PointMark settings there is no way to change or offset the position of the point marks so I am little confused as to how we can rectify this problem.

Any ideas what in the new update could have caused this to happen?

We are using Telerik theming but are using a modified version of the Telerik theme that shipped with the Q2 release. We did not update the themes as part of the update to SP2 as we have made a number of customisations. Were there some changes in the theming that could account for this?

Many Thanx,
Chris

Hello Chris,

Well, we are not sure why this behavior is exhibited in your project and whether this might interfere in some way with your themes. I would suggest to try with negative margins on the PointMarks. If this does not seem to help, please send us a runnable project so we can investigate. Thank you.

Thanx Zammy, setting negative margins for the PointMarkStyle fixed the problem. I had to set the top and left margins to -5 exactly in order to align the points correctly. If you can think of any reason why I would need to do this, or if there are dependent margin/padding styles on containing elements that we may have inadvertantly changed that would be great!

Chris

Hi Chris,

We have changes on some parts of the rendering but we cannot be sure until we don't see your template modifications.  I am glad margins managed to help.
