A question on how licensing would work if we used Open Access:

If we have about 10 developers working on the product, however only about 4 of those are working on the portion of the code that deals with data access and hence directly uses Open Access. The remaining devs will presumably need OA installed but only because our project is set up as one integrated VS solution so when they compile, they have to compile everything, even though they are working on the front end user interface, not doing an OA development. In that situation, how many licenses would we need to buy - 4 or 10?

Hello Simon,

Basically you have two options:
1. developers that do not work on the projects that use OpenAccess  will unload these projects so that they can compile the rest (I am not sure if this is possible in your case)
2. install the product on each developer's machine but make sure that it is used only be the licensed developers
