Layout control

Hi,

We would like to give the power user to design on runtime the screen layout and the appearance of the fields and the visual components like combobox, radio buttons etc. Not only for the end user but for the developer it is also interesting having this kind of features.

We missed in the great component set of Telerik to do this kind of stuff. Searching the web I see that Devexpress offers for SL some kind of flexible layout control.   Are there any plans to build such a layout control?

Hi Nick,

I am aware of this controls. But we are looking for a wysiwyg layout component similar like working in the wysiwyg layout editor in a report builder, or infopath, with minimal programming.  I hope that Telerik will consider this kind of functionality for Silverlight.
