latest ODAC release

Hi,

What is the latest ODAC release Telerik data access support? Does it support the latest release ODAC 12c Release 3 (12.1.0.2.1) with Oracle Data Provider for .NET 4 (12.1.0.2.0)?

Hi Henk,

Currently, the Oracle tests in the Data Access test suite are executed against ODAC 12c Release 2. ODAC 12c Release 3 is not tested jet, and therefore is not officially supported.

Ok, but does dataaccess check the version used, especially when  using the managed driver?

Hello Henk,

Currently, Telerik Data Access supports only one version of the Oracle Managed driver - 4.121.1.0. This is a functional restriction. In other words, Data Access does not have explicit check of the version number, but it is incompatible with other versions.
