[Solved] Keyboard stops working with Frozen Column

I ran into this issue then was able to re-create it on your Demo site.

Under Other GridView Examples select Frozen Columns.

Change Frozen columns count slider to 3.

Double click to edit ID.

Use right arrow to navigate in edit mode all the way to the right most column.

Then use left arrow to navigate back to the left.

Once you are on a cell that is under the frozen columns, the keyboard no longer works except for maybe backspace with the cell.

Is this a known issue?  Is there a work around?  This makes frozen columns basically unusable.

Unfortunately, I was not able to reproduce the issue you reported. May I ask you to take a look at the video I captured and tell me if I am missing something?

As it turns out I was using the Demos from my localhost.  I ran this on the public site as you did and all is good.

The version of my DLLs is 2011.1.315.1040.  What version is the public site on?

I can upgrade to the Rad Controls for Silverlight 4 2011.2.1010 DEV hotifx.  Do you think that will fix it?

I tried installing this hotfix yet there seems to be a problem with how I did it.  Is there instructions on how to install these new DLLs?  I just need them updated so I can select the new version from References.  If I overwrite the DLLs I am currently using then References no longer lists the new DLLs.

When I installed Telerik it put the DLLs that I reference in:
C:\Program Files\Telerik\RadControls for Silverlight Q1 2011\Binaries\Silverlight

Never mind, I see that this is the internal build.

I am installing the latest release Q2 2011 SP1 which is the automated install.

This should work for me now.
