Hi I have a grid using: https://www.telerik.com/kendo-vue-ui/components/grid/filtering/filter-menu/
I have several filters by columns, how can I change the title?
In the image you can see my grid, for example in the first filter I need the title to be different from the second, how is this possible?
I'm getting the following in my Debug Console when I run my application;
License activation failed for @progress/kendo-ui v2023.1.425
No license found.
See https://docs.telerik.com/kendo-ui/intro/installation/using-license-code for more information.
This despite having the license file present in my project root. At the moment, I have removed the environment variable since I thought it might be causing a conflict.
I have also used npm uninstall to remove all my local packages and I have reinstalled the. Her eis my current package.json;

Why am I getting this licensing issue despite having followed the instruction at this link;

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks...
Is it possible to bind buttons created in a ToolbarTemplate for a grid in vuejs ?
The purpose is to enable/disable button if a row is selected or not
So how do we add a Detail Template? The docs are seriously lacking for Vue wrappers!!
I have this - which i assume would reference a $ref od "detail" but instead outputs a string
<kendo-grid ref="grid"
:data-source-ref="'dataSource'"
:menu="true"
:sortable='true'
:pagable="true"
:groupable="false"
:detail-template="'detail'">
I have a large project that uses BootstrapVue. It also uses Vuelidate for validation. Why should I consider using Kendo UI instead? What are the major differences or pros/cons of one versus the other? Would Kendo UI be able to completely replace BootstrapVue + Vuelidate?
Thanks.
Hello,
Kendo UI version: 2022.3.1109
Kendo Scheduler Vue Wrapper version : 2022.3.1109
Browser: Safari > v12
By default, iPad on iOS greater than version 12 using Safari are show websites in desktop mode. When the Scheduler is displayed, the scroll is not working (even if we force the settings mobile to true or phone or tablet). So we can't scroll through the timeline.
When we switch the iPad to request a mobile site, the scroll is working.
With an iPad with iOS version 12 or below, there is no issue.
I think the issue is related to this github issue I found for the Spreadsheet wrapper for vue: https://github.com/telerik/kendo-ui-core/issues/5300
Is there a work around for that ?
Best Regards,
Fabien
Hi,
I am trying to create a nav menu using the kendo Menu Component. My requirement is to make this nav menu similar to the dashkit nav menu. There are two major problems that I am currently facing
Problem with Making Responsive: In the web version, if we hover on a nav item that has children in the nav menu, it opens a submenu on the right side of that nav item. In the Mobile version, if we click on a nav item that has children, it opens a submenu on the right side same as the web version, but the submenu is outside of the viewable frame.
Showing Active navs: I looked for this in the forum, but unfortunately, I didn't find any proper solution for making the kendo menu nav items active.
DashKit Theme Reference: https://dashkit.goodthemes.co/index.html
Customize Setting:
Sample Vue Project: https://github.com/iamAdarshh/Kendo-Menu-Responsive
By default, the grid column menu (https://www.telerik.com/kendo-vue-ui/components/grid/columns/column-menu/) displays a weird tootip on hover, containing the field name and a "Column Menu" text:
I'd like to either remove this tooltip or customize it (for instance, by changing it's text with the title - and not the name - of the field, plus removing the "Column Menu" text). Is there a way to to this?
The documentation contains a "GridColumnMenuItemProps" section, and I see a "title" prop that could be useful (https://www.telerik.com/kendo-vue-ui/components/grid/api/GridColumnMenuItemProps/#toc-title). But I haven't found a way to pass this prop (at least, I haven't found anything on the documentation about it).
Is this possible?
Hi,
I am using Kendo UI Material theme. I would like to switch between light and dark themes without reloading the whole site. May I know what are variables available that I can set in the code?
Hi, I am just getting started with using the Kendo Vue components and am trying to implement a context menu. My application is using Vuejs 3 with typescript.
I have a version working with ContextMenu from the @progress/kendo-layout-vue-wrapper package. However, with this, I can't seem to access anything from an event handler argument. Example: function onMenuSelect(e) - I can't seem to access anything about e in my typescript/javascript.
In searching around for typescript types for this, I notice that there is a native kendo vue menu which requires Menu from @progress/kendo-vue-layout and Popup from @progress/kendo-vue-popup. Should I be using this instead? And with this, are there any examples for how to open the menu from rows in a table? I need my context menu to be dynamic based on which table row is triggering it.
I hope some of this question makes sense - I am totally new to using this. Thanks!
