I'm using Kendo UI Mobile v2013.2.1021 in my Icenium project.  I ran into this issue before and got around it with some jquery event binding but I'm running into issues on device now that have me dead in my tracks :(

Basically the close event doesn't ever fire for an Actionsheet widget.  if I define an event handler with "data-close" attribute it never fires.  Open works fine for some reason but close never does???  It doesn't work in the Icenium simulator or when I deploy my app to a device.  My fancy jquery trick works on iOS 7 fine but it's a crapshoot on android devices so far :(

I didn't see anything in the Kendo UI forums about it so I guess I'm just lucky >.<

EDIT: btw I tried to get the actionsheet events working with the default project Icenium creates for a Kendo UI Mobile app, and it still doesn't work right so I don't think it's something specific to my project

Hi Ryan,

According to the Kendo UI Q3 release notes, the close event of the ActionSheet widget has been added in Q3 2013 release i.e. it is not yet available in v2013.2.1021. Please download Kendo UI Q3 release from the Kendo site and replace the respective files in your Icenium project.

We would be upgrading to a more recent Kendo UI version in the upcoming release in mid December.

Sorry for the temporary inconvenience.

Regards,
Steve
