Hi,

Just wanted to give an update on the Twitter comment about formatting and Fluent API not working well together.
I'm in the code behind of a C# user control and everything runs perfectly. When I select JustCode >> Code >> Format code or (CTRL+ALT+F) the formatting goes bonkers over the fluent API bits.

First of all, I totally agree with JustCode it's crappy code but it pushes it so far to the right it's off screen. Instead of the opening { being at column 37 it starts at 168. When I use VS2010 integrated formatted (CTRL+K, CTRL+F) everything remains fine.

I'm on the latest internal build (2011.2.816.0) the previous version (last week I believe) had the same issues. Attached I've put the screenshot of the endresult and 2 screenshots showing the extensions I've got installed in VS2010. Nothing that would suggest any trouble or incompatibility but perhaps the 'Indent guides'.

I'm on all the latest (W7/VS2010) updates except for 2 extensions (Telerik WebUI VSExtensions / Telerik Silverlight VSExtensions) which I always keep in sync with the latest version of Sitefinity I'm developing against.

Jochem.

Hello Jochem,

We are sorry for the inconvenience. We have recently fixed similar problems. Can you please download the latest internal build (from 09.09) and test this problem.

If the problem persist, please send us the following information so we can investigate the problem further:
- code snipped (only the method code, not the whole working solution);
- screenshots from Options dialog with the settings for Code Style / C# / Brace Positions and Code Style / C# / Wrapping.

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate your help.

Kind regards,
Borislav
