I'm not sure this problem is related to the telerik dev tools I have installed in VS IDE. I'm unable to debug javascript files. I have the 'debug script options' both unchecked in IE. The code will break in controllers but not in the javascript file. It says the no symbols have been loaded for this document.

This is not a known problem as Telerik Extensions for ASP.NET MVC should not interfere in any way with Internet Explorer. You can try uninstalling them to see if this would make any difference.
