I'm running Q2 2011 Internal Build 2011.2.614.1 and have been seeing the following issue on several machines.  All machines are running 64-bit WIndows 7 (some with SP1); all dev is in Visual Studio 2010 (without SP).  The only other add-in installed across all machines is TestDriven.Net 3.0 Personal.

When I hit F2 to rename a variable and I position the cursor within the variable being renamed, when I start typing, the first character goes in the place expected, but all subsequent characters are appended to the end of the (existing) variable name.  In other words, the first keypress causes the insertion cursor to jump to the end of the variable name.

Have others seen this?

Hi Steve Wilkinson,

Thank you for your feedback.

Indeed we had such problem and we already fixed it in our codebase. The fix will be included in the next internal build.

I am sorry for the inconvenience. Please stay tuned for our future releases.
