i override the DistinctValuesLoading event and set e.ItemsSource . after i select some filters then close the filter dialog. if i open the filter dialog again, the filters which are selected last time is not selected. so how to set selected filter before the filter dialog is opened?

Are the new distinct values valid distinct values? Is your filtering control your own or the default one?
If it won't be a problem, can you prepare a very simple sample project that demonstrates what you are doing, open a new support ticket and attach it. We will then take a look at it and tell you what is wrong.
