Hi Jose,
Please clarify what do you mean when saying "work with Silverlight 4". We have initial implementation of Ria domain service (no codegen for the moment), plus we ship the DSW together with OpenAccess, and it can be used to implement various services technologies, plus client-side application code.

Greetings,

Hi Dimitar,
Thanks for the reply.
I will clarify the question. I'm starting a deployment with Visual Studio 2010 and Silverlight 4.
I ask you then if there is a tutorial to help me in this implementation, using OpenAccess ORM.

Best Regards,
José

Hi Jose,
In the documentation that we will release with SP, we added a GettingSTarted walktrough, with SL 3/4 plus some documentation on the DataServicesWizard (also Telerik.DSW).

All the best,
Dimitar Kapitanov

Ok Dimitar, now the link is ok.
But I can not find the GettingSTarted walktrough for silverlight 4. Where I can find it?
The GettingSTarted is done over Visual Studio 2010 ?
Best regards,
José

Hello Jose,
Somehow the documentation didn't make it into the release. We will make update to the documentation next week, plus maybe an internal build to deliver more fixes and improvements. If you want really to look at the SL getting started topic even now, please open a support ticket and I will attach for you the code sample plus the documentation.

Hello Dimitar,
Is really important for my start as soon as possible with a Silverlight implementation. So I'll  open a support ticket asking documentation.

HI, after creating a new rlinq file i got this warning:
Warning 1 The C# 2.0 and C# 3.5 compilers are no longer supported. Templates will always be compiled with the version 4 compiler instead of 'v3.5' as specified. D:\Formation\BusinessApplication3\BusinessApplication3.Web\EntityDiagrams1.rlinq 1 4

If I open the rlinq file I got this one too:
Warning 2 The 'http://tempuri.org/ORM:orm' element is not declared. D:\Formation\BusinessApplication3\BusinessApplication3.Web\EntityDiagrams1.rlinq 47 6 BusinessApplication3.Web

any suggestion?

Hi Pierre,

The first warning is due to the breaking changes in the T4 templates introduced in Visual Studio 2010. You can open up the .tt template located in C:\Program Files\Telerik\OpenAccess ORM\dsl\CodeGenerationTemplates\CSharp\DefaultTemplateCS.tt and just remove the language attribute in the declaring tag. This will fix the warning but bear in mind that this template is also used for generating code in Visual Studio 2008 and its default version is 2.0, which means that if you remove the attribute the code generation will not work in VS2008.

As to the second warning, we are already working on this and it will also be included in the next release.

Your input is highly appreciated. Thank you.

Kind regards,
Serge
