Hi Mahendren,

RadComboBox has search-as-you-type capabilities. However I am a bit confused by your requirements .
To be able to search trough items at the UI - the items need to be loaded.

Can you please elaborate a bit more on what exactly  are you trying to achieve ?

I expect Combobox Ondemandloading like asp.net Combobox.because not able to load huge amount of data in Combobox .if load 20000 data in combobox means application working very slow .so i feel to load data ondemand.

Hi Mahendren,

RadComboBox supports virtualization. You can find more information how to achieve this here.
Also, you could refer to these help resource in which you will find a sample project in which is illustrated how to implemented on demand loading of items:
Hope this information is helpful.

I am also trying to implement a searchable combobox, but I am trying to do it with a contains rather than a starts with. For example

Almonds
Walnuts
Pistachio
Brazil Nuts
Nuts

If you typed in "nut" I want Walnuts, Brazil Nuts and Nuts to be options, but not Almonds and Pistachio

Hoping you can help

Hello Randy,

You can achieve this by setting the TextSearchMode property to Contains. More information you can find in this help article.

Hope this information helps.
