Is that correct that RadMap doesn't support any Provider(s) for Xamarin (as it does for WPF)?

I am a bit confused, but it looks like the Providers are implemented for WPF only...

So, in case if say I want to have an OpenStreetMap loaded on the background and add shapes from shp file over it, then I should find some other components, and there is no way to handle that with Telerik?

(Jic, I've got a Xamarin.Forms project).

Hi Boleslaw,

I am afraid that for now RadMap works only with shape files and does not provide support for map providers such as OpenStreetMap. We have a feature request regarding such functionality, you can track its status and add comments at the link below:

Map: Add support for map providers 

I would suggest you check the Xamarin.Forms Map control which is useful in scenarios where map functionality is required.
