I'm new on the job as a product manager for a large and international webshop. In this role I plan to keep a backlog running, from which subsets will be extracted to make out new development projects. Additions to the backlog will basically all be channeled through me. The development is outsourced and it's not likely that that company is, or will be, using TeamPulse.

As a former usability designer, with an intereset in the agile movement, I was initially impressed by the online material describing TeamPulse. However, I do feel the tool might on one side be too extensive for my needs (in terms of daily project support) and on the other side be a bit too 'shallow' in offering easy output for external access. The setup of servers, clients and so forth also feels as overkill for my situation.

Is TeamPulse for me? If not, can someone please direct me to another tool.

Hi Joakim,

We are sure that you would find great value using TeamPulse.  Although a cloud based offering isn't here yet, I strongly encourage you to install the Trial edition on your local machine in order to get a feel for the benefits TeamPulse would bring to your day to day activities.  The install can be very straight forward but if isn't in your environment we'll be there to help you out.

Greetings,
