Hi there,
Is there a release date for the next version of the extensions already? Kazi blogged about inline editing in the grid and I'm dying to get my hands on that functionality. What other controls will be included in the next release?
Is it possible to get a stable internal build until the next release.

Hi Niels,
We expect the next release to appear in the beginning of March 2010. We will most probably release some preview of our MVC bits beforehand. However there is still no fixed date for the preview. I think that once we finish the inline editing we will probably release a new build.
The complete list of new components is not finished yet. The only confirmed UI extensions for now are datepicker and calendar but we expect to add a few more.

Any update on this one? I need to finish a proposal for ASP.Net MVC tooling in the next two weeks and it would be nice if I could show a Telerik MVC Extensions which is more feature complete than the previous release.
One of the things I very curious about is if and how the "input" controls will handle client-side validation will the control render elements needed to show a validation error?

We plan to release a new update containing new components and grid editing in the middle of February. If this is too late for you I can send you a private build of the current development version. However keep in mind that it is nowhere near finished nor stable :)
As for client-side validation - we aim to support the built-in MVC client-side validation.

A private build would be appreciated. I'm working with VS2010/.Net Framework 4.0 Beta 2 and thus with MVC2 Beta 1 so I'm used to software which is not yet released :-). But honestly I'm impressed by the stability of it.
What will be a good way for you to make the build available to me. I'm pretty sure the email scanners won't let files > 2Mb through and certainly not assemblies. Maybe as an attachment in this thread?
