All,

Is Mist performing some sort of automatic save? If so, is there a way to turn it off? I am trying to code my app and am constantly experiencing connection delays for no reason. I will just be typing in Mist and suddenly I am getting the spinner in my browser tab and my cursor and typing is frozen. Most times this is not happening, but this morning I am turning into the reincarnation of Sam Kinison as I try to get some work done.

I have closed and reopened my browser, changed connections, kicked the kids off xbox, kicked the wife off netflix, rebooted, and still have this issue. I am facing serious couch time for being the family ogre, so if I am going to have to spend time on the couch, I want to at least get something coded.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Bruce

Hello Bruce,

We believe it must have been a temporary problem with the server as none of us can reproduce the issue you've hit now and you're the first person to report such behavior. Please try it now and if you're still having the same problems, we would appreciate if you install FiddlerCap to capture the request/response sessions with Icenium, save it and provide us with a link to it.

Also run a ping to app.icenium.com with 2000 bytes of data whenever the problem starts to occur i.e. run command prompt as Administrator and type "ping app.icenium.com -l 2000 -t" without the quotes and let it run for several minutes. Then check whether you have any packets lost and what is the %.
