I am looking at the options for customizing the appearance of the chart, and not seeing many options.
Is it possible to move the legend to somewhere other than the right side? in this case all I want is to move it to the bottom of the chart.

You can customize the position of the legend through the RadChart.DefaultView.ChartLegendPosition property -- check the online example here.
