Is it possible to have multiple StackedBars in one chart ?

My client is requesting this type of functionality and I'm reasearching if this is possible?

The idea is to have more than one stacked bar sharing the same XCategory.

Any thoughts?

Hello Dennis,

You can achieve the desired effect by setting StackedBarSeriesDefinition.StackGroupName property as demonstrated in this example here.

Thanks for your help. It's exactly what we were looking for. The problem is that the SL version that our app is using is 2011.1.419.1040
I've been avoiding upgrading...! is there any workaround? In what version of the chart control did this property get introduced?

Please ignore my previous post. I got confused because I was trying to access that property in a ISeriesDefinition object! This requires a cast to StackedBarSeriesDefinition in order to have access to this specific property.

Unfortunately such appearance customization is not supported and it would not be possible to achieve the desired spacing effect.
