Hi guys,
I've noticed that there's something wrong when installing OA using the lite installer on Windows 8 x64 RTM.
The installation process takes up to 4-5 hours. I've tried on 2 PC's. Both i7's, one with a fast HDD and one with an SSD. Both 16GB RAM.
I don't know if the problem also occurs with the normal installer as you've made it (almost?) impossible to find anywhere.
PS. I hate web/lite installers that also add loads of stuff I don't even want and/or need! ;)

It is really unusual that the installation took so long especially on the hardware that you have mentioned. When installing through the Telerik Web Installer installation logs are generated in the following location %programdata%\Telerik\Installer. Can you send us all log files generated so that we can try to identify what was the reason for the slow installation? It will be much appreciated.
If you need the msi installation package you can find it through your Telerik account under the 'Manage products' | 'Free products' section. Here is a link for ease - http://www.telerik.com/account/your-products/freeproducts.aspx. You need to download the 'Automatic Installation' package for the core product and the 'OpenAccess SDK' package for any additional resources.
